Thanks, I have set hot water and heating to come for something like 2 mins in the middle of the day. But it is just such a faff. I love technology but it has to work well.

Flo flo,

We have a similar controller. You don't need to have it come on 3 x a day tho. E.g. You can have it 7am @ 21 degrees to 8am 5 degrees (so it goes off at 8am) then 6pm @ 21 degrees to 9.30pm @ 5 degrees. Then for the 3rd setting you just enter 9.30pm @ 5 degrees to 9.30pm @ 5 degrees so it still goes off at 9.30pm.

Can't help you on the one hour thing, but HTH.
