Busy, busy, busy!!!
1 batch of bramley apple lemon curd, 1 batch of chewy gingerbread cookies and 3 batches of cranberry, pecan & white chocolate chip cookies made, and 9/20 hampers assembled and delivered :T
I've nearly finished writing the Christmas cards - neighbours x5 and e-cards for overseas family & friends left to do...
It was my aunt's funeral on Wednesday - lovely service and gorgeous flowersAnd on Thursday I went for breast screening - driving to the hospital in an unfamiliar town and then trying to find a parking space was way more stressful than the mammogram itself
Boss has said that I don't need to go into the office next week :j I will need to monitor e-mails and it'll make my life easier if I review 6 reports and plan some trips before 4 January...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

I can't believe that I forgot to mention yesterday's dinner - the recipe is a keeper - Mr MWC cooked Nigel Slater's mulled lamb and served it with giant couscous
Today Chef (:p) is making pho bo (Vietnamese beef noodle soup) :j
My plan for today is to prioritise housework over Christmas stuff and then make another batch of lemon curd, write a things-to-do-before-Christmas list and rake up more leaves in the front garden.Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

I've made a start on the Christmas cleaning... kitchen drawers & cupboards cleaned, stainless steel pots & pans polished. I need daylight before I can clean the light fittings, look for cobwebs and clean the kitchen windows. I'll also clean the oven tomorrow.
We've made a final shopping list so I may walk into town tomorrow and buy as much as I can carry.
My 102 year old great aunt's release from hospital to a nursing home has been delayedHer social worker is still hopeful that she'll be released before Christmas though
