Lovely
Slept from 21:30 to 05:00, got up to go to the loo (sorry TMI
) and then slept until the alarm went off at 06:00 :T
No early night tonight - I finished making the hedgerow jelly and it took ages to reach setting point... I don't need to be up until 07:00 tomorrow though :T

I've spent the evening removing labels and cleaning old jam jars - it's all fun, fun, fun here! I do now have 50+ reusable jars :T I haven't had many little clip-top terrine jars returned this year though

I've updated MFiT-T3 - combined total mortgage = £75, 860
Mr MWC is home tomorrow :j

My sympathies - I had to go jar shopping earlier this week, due to lack of returns

You've reminded me - I need to sort out a system to use for how to store dried goods, now my dehydrator has arrived!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I've had a fairly busy Friday afternoon for me:
- mowed the lawn
- tidied the shed so that the chicken-sitter can get in it next week
- found loads more jam jars in the shed so more label-removing
- a couple of loads of laundry dried on the line
- popped into town to buy chicken treats
- made soup (roast butternut squash, carrot and red/yellow pepper with chipotle)
- oiled the kitchen table
I now have enough round/hexagonal/oval jars for hedgerow jelly and lemon curd, larger round jars for Mr MWC's piccalilli and a selection of other shape jars for chutney. Just need to check I have enough lids - should do as I bought loads last year! The clip-top jars look nice in my hampers though so I will probably buy a dozen!

I need a list today or I'll just sit on my backside!
- chub club weigh-in (I'm not going to reach my 20% target before we go on holiday
)
- meal plan with Mr MWC (I think he wants to fast on Monday and Wednesday)
- remember not to buy too much fruit & veg as we're off at the crack of dawn on Thursday
- clean under-the-sink kitchen cupboard
- clean fridge
- scrub kitchen floor
- clean bathroom
- write a things to do/pack etc list
- laundry & ironing
- power wash the chicken coop
- buy a sack of chicken feed so they don't run out whilst were away
- clean windows (I didn't think the insides were too bad but the window cleaner did the outsides on Wednesday...)
- pay window cleaner
That'll do for a start :eek:Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Just caught up. love love love the pics of the girls in the garden
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
I lost 1 lb at chub club
so I'm 2 lbs from 20% and realistically I could lose another 1 lb by Thursday morning
I've meal-planned, shopped and cleaned the under-the-sink cupboard, fridge and shower. I need to empty the washing machine and then clean the coop.Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
