Ouch! Oh dearDid he have to get the garage to drain it, or did you call the breakdown service?
I hope the girls coop is secured - it's supposed to get more than a bit windy for most of the UK tomorrow. Don't want them disappearing into next door's garden en masse
Hope you manage to survive work.

Luckily he realised before he drove off and phoned the AA so it only (ONLY ) cost him £200 + a full tank of petrolGreying_Pilgrim wrote: »I hope the girls coop is secured - it's supposed to get more than a bit windy for most of the UK tomorrow. Hmmm not too worried about The Girls Greying but the new walk-in run roof might end up in the neighbour's garden - Mr MWC and FIL aren't known for their DIY skills... :rotfl:Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

The roof is still on the walk-in run :T
Inspired by Greying, I bought some frozen green beans today. I don't know why I haven't done so before as they're a) considerably cheaper than fresh, b) British so less food miles and c) there will be less wastage as I only needed a handful for chicken & ravioli soup (using HM chicken stock, LO chicken from the weekend and HG parsley :A)
Mr MWC has a rash  hopefully just because he's run down and coldy and nothing worse *fingers crossed*

I certainly buy basic veg as frozen - peas, for instance, who has time to shell fresh peas, unless they've grown them themselves? Broccoli too, tho the texture is usually rubbish.
Oh dear, though - hope the rash proves to be nothing2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Me too!
He's had a rash on his chest several times in the last 5 years usually when he's super-busy or a bit rundown and normally a day or so after a flight (although this time it has been a week since his last flight and the rash doesn't appear after every flight). 6 years ago he had chickenpox for the first time so I wonder if it is a mild form of shingles without pain...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Hope he's feeling a bit better.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
