    4. Drink at least 1L of water every day
    5. Wash face before bed every night
    6. Read mindfulness book
    7. No chocolate - did really well in January and then binged in February... no wonder I didn't lose any weight!

I need to buy some new clothes as my current wardrobe is faded and threadbare :o but I reckon I can hold out to mid-April so I really would like to lose 10lbs by then :)

I hate buying new clothes as well - if I've got plenty of money, its not *too* bad, but not having money, *and* being overweight compared to how I used to be, that makes it awful :(

You've done great on your Feb challenges, you know! I know what you mean about 28 days not creating a habit, it doesn't for me either, I think all the talk about that is wildly overoptimistic.

Mind you, you have cheese in the freezer - that'd last a couple of days for me!

Loving that Miss MWC was headbutting the carrier :rotfl: thats just perfick :D

Eggs OUT 2 (rum-soaked sultana, banana & walnut cake)

I went on a shopping spree this afternoon (I'm pre-spending my bonus) - a hotbin composter, raised timber beds and a new salad spinner :)

Squash, bacon & thyme risotto with gremolata served in baked whole harlequin squash for dinner - yum!

  • oh no - I've still got the urge to spend money

I'm always like this when I have a new project (square foot gardening this time) and, if I'm honest with myself, I much prefer the researching/planning/sourcing/purchasing than the actual project itself :o

Miss MWC looks well this morning :) There were a couple of times yesterday morning when I wished I had taken her to the vet as planned... but I couldn't catch her again so I guess she wasn't that poorly :rotfl:

Jobs for today include laundry, cleaning bathroom/downstairs loo, changing bedding, cleaning the chicken coop and then I really must crack on with that report :(

  • Morning, glad to hear Miss MWC seems a little better.

Sq Ft gardening is so productive, have you tried it before?

Yr dinner last night sounds fab, where's the recipe from please?

Have a good day, Tilly x

  • Morning Tilly

The recipe was from Sainsburys magazine ages ago - I'll scan the recipe in and send it to you tomorrow :)

Also, I have a promo code for a free 7-day pass with British Military Fitness - are you interested?

We've only grown fruit/veg in flowerbeds/pots/growbags before so I'm already looking forward to giving SFG a go - everything I've read so far seems very positive :D

  • Has everyone else had the interest added to their N/wide flexdirect account for February? It's been added to my account but not the joint account
