Hello
Think its about time i started backing up the stuff on my laptop. As i am totally clueless on this can anyone advise on a easy to use/install external hardrive at a reasonable price.
Alternatively would i be better using dvds/cds, usb etc or one of those cloud things?
Also i do have a lot of video stored in my favourites/bookmarks will this use up a lot of space.
Thanks

The don't need installing, they just plug in.
Favourites use hardly any space, video files kept locally use a lot in comparison.
Any usb hard disk will do, provided it's big enough, there are many threads about them on here if you do a search - look on amazon/scan/ebuyer/hotukdeals for prices. Portable drives (2.5") are easiest, as they don't need external power
you can use macrium reflect free disk imaging to backup a whole system easily!!
