Hi,
I'd like to ask anyone that knows eBay inside out where I stand. I bought an item off eBay a couple of weeks ago and the buyer posted 2nd class. However it's never arrived despite their claims that it was sent. Can you let me know what I do from now?
Thanks

what you need to do is open an item, not recieved complaint on ebay - and there contact seller, who say yes I posted on x day, - if you paid paypal ebay will refund the money paid, and then the seller will need to claim from royal mail xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Have you asked the seller for a refund? If not, then do so, if you have then open a claim as mum2one suggests.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Like Soolin says, ask for a refund first: almost any business seller and a large proportion of private sellers will refund voluntarily without the need to open an Item Not Received case. Opening a dispute prematurely could actually delay your refund, since Paypal may prevent the funds being released until eBay has reviewed the case.
If it's a private seller I personally would allow 3 weeks before insisting on a refund, since that's the timescale for Royal Mail to classify a missing item as lost, but most sellers will willingly refund if it's been a couple of weeks.0
