PDA or Smartphone

Managed to break a pin in the docking port of my trusty Dell X3 PDA and need to find a replacement.
Having a phone would be nice, but not essential. Same with a camera.
I mainly use spreadsheets and contacts.
The ability to back up wirelessly and no folding screen would be ideal.
Price is a consideration and I don't need the latest all-singing model.
Any suggestions for where to look for comparisons?
