Cancelling a bank move

I signed up online about a week ago to a Nationwide Flex Account, mainly because I wanted to get the regular saver account as recommended on MSE.
The login details arrived today, so I logged in, only to find that they scrapped the regular saver account yesterday!
Two questions really:
*how likely are they to let me get the account as I thought I would get it in the first place?
*if not, how do I go about cancelling the transfer as I don't really need the account now!

Did you/they not open the Flexclusive Regular Saver at the same time you opened the Flexaccount? If yes, you should be ok. If no, you could call them and see whether they'll still let you have the Reg Saver.

Whether you could stop the transfer alltogether probably depends on how far down the line they already got with the transfer of the Direct Debits.

However, may be keeping the Flexaccount might not be a bad idea - - they had a superb ISA exclusively for Flexaccount holders earlier in the year, and they might have other exclusives in the future.

I didn't really need my Flex Account either, but I kept it for 12 years and then along came the Flexclusive ISA and Regular Saver, so I'm happy I did now!

I understood that I had applied for both at the same time, but no saver account has appeared on my online banking. I'm waiting to hear back from them, and hoping that they'll honour what I thought I was signing up for!

The Regular Saver account does take a little while to show up online - although the opening credit (& interest) is backdated to the date it was opened.

If you did open it at the same time as your FlexAccount, then they'll still honour that.
