Also, I remember logging on to the webinars/videos produced by the owners and got sooooo brain dead I just completely switched off. They seemed to take ages talking and not actually saying anything or, what they said could have been condensed into a few sentences. Waffle just switches my brain off I'm afraid. I just want the facts, show me the financials etc but there did seem to be a hell of a lot of waffle (maybe intentional, maybe just how they converse normally, god knows, but I glazed over) and it was no sale from me because confused and bored people don't buy do they?

    Hi folks

I decided to give it a try & joined by paying the $25. I will start 'blogging'. and if it doesn't produce any results in the first 3 months, then I will cancel my subscription.

There are a few canny marketers who are currently promoting this program and I do know that, they make a decent income from it, but what they have is large email lists and get healthy affiliate commissions from the different levels of programmes.

I just see this as another MLM scheme and the only one's who make the real money are the people with all of the contacts.

Yep, I am in a few marketing groups with people who do Empower network and a few are making 5 figures PER MONTH with this system!!

The difference with them is they already had big lists and they make the money by inviting others in as you get the monthly recurring income from your downline. Also, two of the guys in particular are adding to the empowernetworks system by really teaching how to market online so thats the added bonus that most who join EN dont get so they say it doesnt work.

Having said that I wouldnt join as I dont like MLM's. Although I know I would make money I can help but think that at the bottom of my chain someone will be loosing out but even then im sure I know enough to help them make a decent living alsoo...

Hmmm I guess it depends on your style of making money but if you know absolutely nothing about driving traffic or dont have a community you belong to then it is a tricky game hence why so many people say its a scam as they underestimate what skills they need to succeed (EN doesnt help by promoting it as dead easy). Its not a scam in the sense that what they promise is possible but you have to know a bit more than they offer and purely doing the £25 starting point wont land you a windfall.

I am in a facebook group owned by the guy who does 5 figures pm.. he is 24 and made 1.2 million last year NOT all from EN (yes i know ppl wont believe that but I have met and followed him since he started and know very well the other methods he used to make that kinda money) but he still does 5 figures pm only from EN. As I said it can be done but this guy and the others that I know of and have spoken to were all really good at driving traffic before they started with EN and were able to offer their downline something of real value. I have considered joining him only to learn the traffic methods but that seems a long way around things...

Either way good luck with what you decide to do and to the OP's wife but I would say that the price you are paying in my opinion is not for the system but for the training on how to drive traffic and you could always use this info to drive traffic to your own blogs and sell your own products from there as one thing that EN know very well is driving traffic and thats the key to making money online!

By the way, can driving traffic to your blog(s) be learnt without joining EN? Is it complicated?
  • I also got into this problem. and now I no longer want to be involved in it ...

    Hi wira5353

    Thanks for your reply.

Can I ask why you don't want to be involved in it any more?

Is it possible to 'buy' email lists and try and may a go of it that way?

    Thanks

Can I ask why do you say never buy email lists?
