Hello.
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in. But i was just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent low priced digital camera (and where i can buy one from).
I don't really want to spend more than around £40-60 if possible.
Any help and recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks.

At the cheaper end of the market i would get a kodak, (check amazon.co.uk) better lenses than most of the cheapees & the pictures are really good. You can also have a look at canon refurb outlet on e-bay

Hi.
Thanks, though as i'm going away on Thursday morning, i really need to have one by Wednesday and i don't think that if i buy on the net i'll be able to get it in time.
I actually have a Canon Powershot A400, but when i checked it yesterday i found that all the buttons at the back are no longer working :-( So i can't change any of the settings.
So it looks like i'll have to get a new one.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -
You can pay extra for quick delivery from amazon, should get it.Nudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0

Do you know anything about Fuji Finepix?Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0

I have a Kodak Easy share Z700. It has been my best camera to date and takes very good close up pictures for my ebay sales. I also have the docking station although I don't use that much as the paper can be quite expensive.
I got mine from Argos.0 -
Aaaaarrrhhh. I hate the internet, as soon as i find something that i may be considering buying, i'm then put off by reading some reviews.
Fuji Finepix seemed okay but then i read a recent 'do not buy this camera' review.
I guess i have until this afternoon to decide whether to get one from amazon of not. Still time............just.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -

Has anyone ever had one of these?
Vivitar Vivicam V6320
Of course some people would run a mile from 'unknown brands', BUT are they always that bad? For example it's a canon i have at the moment; a canon that broke without any reason and also one that had a really appalling shutter delay speed. :-(
Also, whilst i'm here, is Amazon also the best place to get memory cards, as i'll also need one of those (the ones you get with cameras purposely take about 7 photos before they are full).
Thanks again.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -
fine pix are ok, vivitar ok, but the lenses are cheap and i wouldn't go there. Cheap end of the market - get a kodak, & mem card from amazonNudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0

What do you mean by cheap lenses? Aren't kodak also cheap lenses as they seem to be the cheapest cameras out there?, plus they all see to have that digital zoom (rather than optical) which is basically a waste of time.
Maybe you can recommend something and i'll take a look, now i have a choice of too many, lol.
I found a 1gb memory card on amazon for about £6, but that seems too good to be true. I'm sure in a shop they'd be about £25 or more.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -
most of the kodaks have 3x optical & their lenses are better than the othersNudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0
