hello
I desperately need to fence in my garden as at present I have a drop of about 6ft at the bottom so it's not at all practical for my 1 year old. Does anyone know of any good deals on fencing at the moment?
Thank you
Kerry;)

Don't know of any specific deals, fencing tends to be a local kind of thing.
What I can say is that fencing prices are soaring lately, £4 has just gone on the price of a 6foot*5foot panel in the last month. There are even more price increases in the pipeline next month, might be a good time to take the plunge before the increase.0 -
try your local saw mill and cut out the middle man

there's a sign up in my local homebase about a current shortage of fencing panels and products so i can agree with the above post about a price increase. the notice was something to with current supplies and having to go abroad to get new supplies in.0

That explains it..... i was in homebase and wickes the other day as wanted to look at what kind of fencing i wanted for my garden and they had nothing there, the odd broken panel only. GREAT, that means its gona be way over priced, think i will wait a few months0

Our local Travis Perkins landscaping place had signs out yesterda that they were running a fence panel clearance. Maybe they have them all0

Recently bought some from these guys in S Yorkshire:
http://www.fabrino.co.uk/price_list.htm
The prices were much cheaper than the local suppliers and the quality was much better ( the convex Paling fencing we bought was made with 19mm thick wood). They even made some panels to a non-standard height at no extra charge ( just charged as the next size up)
Take a look to see what kind of price you should be paying, even if you are not getting it from them.
Watch out for the really cheap vertilap panels that will break in the slightest wind.0 -
https://www.cpldistribution.co.uk - not the cheapest but they deliver as part of the cost (not sure of the minimum spend, but I've just had coal delivered in the past and it's free).0
