Netbook harddrive is formatted into C and D, I just want one.
Having a look on the internet, as I have no CD drive, which is what I do with my laptop, I have to make it boot from an external harddrive. Does anyone know any easier way of doing it?

Make and full model number?
Otherwise just use a Partition Manager.0 -
But D drive will have your back up system thats why you have the main drive partitioned into 2.
If you want more space just get a usb stick as they are so cheap now and put your music, pics or movies on there.0 -
D doesn't hve anything on it. I accidently partitioned it when I set it up (sooooooo stupid on my part)
I just want evrything all in 1 plce.

Possibly not. I have a Samsung laptop, different model, which during the initial set up offered the choice of partitioning the hdd or not. I chose not to. There was a warning at the time that this was a one off choice and couldn't be altered, even with a factory restore.
I did try this, out of curiosity, and it proved correct. The partition or not option wasn't offered during the restore.0 -
As long as there are no restoration files on the
drive, there should be no impediment to using partitioning software to extend the partition.

I either didn't see the warning or stupidly chose to ignore itAh.
I will look into the partition manager thing.0
