Item to sell on e-bay - description?

Sorry wasn't quite sure where to post this! I've picked up some door handles which I thought I would put on e'bay - they are plastic and look as though they're from the 50s/60s. I was wondering if they may be Bakelite, but don't know how to tell if they are - is anyone knowledgeable about this sort of thing? Obviously I want to describe them accurately, but internet searches have been no help.
Oh, they have S H Plastics, B'ham on the back of the handles.

If you look up bakelite door handles, either on current and/or closed listings, see if there is anything there that is the same as yours. Gives you ideas of prices too
