Saving with Amazon?

367 Posts
Hi, I'm sorry I'm not sure this is the right section of the forum for this to be, but I don't know where else to try
I want to save money with Amazon for spending Christmas 2013. I wondered if anyone else has done this.... I know you can by e-vouchers by e-mail and you can select a delivery date for them I think? So would it work if I used my account and brought a £10 voucher each week and arranged for all of it to be delivered on the 15th November 2013... would that work? Has anyone tried this? I'm concerned that I would be buying them and using them on the same account and hopefully buying £500 worth, would they all join together... I'm really not sure how it works.

I have an account with my local credit union, I save £25 per month for Christmas, save via standing order so no hassle. I get the money at the start of November.
There are voucher schemes such as park hampers, where you save monthly for shopping vouchers which can be used in many shops. Also these clubs have some protection for your money - amazon would not.
Have a look at your options before you do this.
