I would not mention the new job until you start, just sign on as normal on the 18th then ring and sign off on the 21th, telling them on the 18th there is a good chance you will not get your normal payment on your normal payment day, you may have to wait whilst all the paperwork is sorted out, you do not have to tell them about the job until it happens, no point giving them a reason to mess your payment up.0

you can ring and sign off on Monday then, or post your sign on card in dated the 21th, as long as you tell them before your next sign on day.0
