I've only just realised that my mum's assessment rate is being paid at £66 a week when it should be £71 a week and this is due to the fact that in the savings and investment section of the calculations page, according to them my mum has £7250  I told them she has £3550 which is correct so how then have they put down £7250?! Really frustrating. Anyone else had this ever happen?? Its frustrating because I need to put in a CTB application and in the savings section, I don't want to put down her balance of £3k and then DWP go around gossiping about to the council that she has £7k and then getting into trouble.
Any wisdom?

Mm, what possible solution could there be other than to contact them, and get them to correct the error?
Any difference should be repaid.0
