Applying for CC

Hi All,
I am looking to apply for a 0% balance tranfer as my current Barclaycard 0% expires in December. Last month I re-financed all my other debts by taking out a loan from Lloyds TSB. (Took loan before becoming addicted to MSE forum and in hindsight might not have been the best thing to do but too late now)
I have never missed a payment for any debt and if I do my homework I don't anticipate having a problem applying for a new CC.
I just wondered how long I should leave it before applying for a CC, I want to give myself enough time to transfer balance but don't want to be penalised as I've just got the loan.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Salary is £16,000 + comission
Rent £600 (living with OH)
New Loan is currently£8166.49
CC is at £1700 (limit £2,00)
Also have accounts with Next & Littlewoods not sure what available credit is on both those without checking.
Not sure which CC to go with yet but having typed out all that information I'm now thinking I doubt I would get accepted for anythingLBM September 2012Debt at LBM £10,573.00Current debt £3,250 (29/12/20)Current savings £4,950 (29/12/20)0 -

Add up all of your monthly debt obligations - often called recurring debt -including your mortgage / rent (principal, interest, taxes and insurance) and your loans, your minimum monthly payments on any credit card debt. Then i will be able to work out your DTI etc.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. You stand little chance of getting more credit with that debt and salary.0
