    I too prefer to use rechargables where possible. Ni-MH batteries generally don't cost much more than alkalines if you shop around. I got most last stash of AA and AAA Ni-MH's from Aldi when they were selling 4packs of them for £1.99 each . I am watching out for a repeat of this offer sometime this year.

    Check ebay for some great deals on high capacity NiMH batteries. Thats where I get mine, great for my digital camera.

    i prefer to get rechargable batteries!!! :)

    The trouble with rechargeable is that their voltage is 1.2 per cell compared to 1.5 for a conventional battery. This is equivalent to a partially discharged alkeline cell and will have less life in certain equipment before the voltage gets too low for operation.

    yep.. they're not good for personal cd players and cameras unless you get 2200s or something..
