Most MPPI complaints are rejected. So why do you think yours shouldnt be? You havent given us your reasons for complaint or the reasons they rejected it.
A lender MPPI policy would be set up correctly with monthly premiums (so no failing there - it doesnt suffer the loan PPI issue). Most MPPI does cover self employed correctly (so no failing there). Most MPPi will pay out in addition to work benefits (so no failing there). You are covering a major debt that is common sense to cover as failure to pay the mortgage can be devasting. So, it is considered best advice to have it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. I really do wish people would understand that PPI is not illegal and in most cases, there is a good reason for taking it out.
As dunstonh has stated MPPI is very rarely mis-sold due to the nature of the loan.0 -
What would the OP have done if their income had stopped and they could not meet the repayments on the loan?
Bought a tent, perhaps?0 -

Mortgage PPI can sometimes be mis-sold, but according to FOS only 10% of complaints are actually upheld.
Most people actually needed some sort of insurance for their Mortgage Repayments. If you don't actually raise any complaint points and just say "It was mis-sold I want my money bank" every single bank will reject you, as well FOS.

Your figures sound exactly around the ballpark you would expect. The FSCS only uphold 5% of complaints against mortgage brokers for example.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). any advice, link or anything any one could advise. it was in 19930 -
