As you're registered for My Account you can use the Make a Payment facility and you'll never have to deal with this joke of an energy company again over the phone which they rarely answer anyway.

My theory is that like the banks (who don't want you in their branches) EDF's has decided to provide such appalling customer service (for which there's nothing you or anyone can do about) so you'll be forced to do almost everything online if you want to get things done.

Use the messaging facility within My Account. The auto-responder tells you that a reply will be given within 10 days, but I've usually found that a response is received within 48 hours.
