The red 'x' button on MSE

Yeap totally agree, that would be fantastic!!!0

I do use it when I've opened a post if I decide it's not for me after further reading, but sometimes you can tell that just from the title!
Ideally it would be good to have it both places, but maybe it's too hard for MSE to code?0 -
I agree with this too. There are loads of comps for tickets to things that I don't want to enter but I don't want to go into each individual post to click the "x" button so having it on the main board would be very useful.2019 Wins

I also would like this too.0

This would be a huge time saver and help my OCD as every comp HAS to have a tick or cross0

I tend to use the x for things that I would normally want to enter but when I read the post something in it that stops me, like facebook like & shares - If i can tell by the title eg its for x-factor tickets then I don't need a red cross to tell me to ignore itproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

I was trying to do some month end comps the other day, did some on one day and some the following. It was hard to remember where I got to, if there had been a string of 'xs' it would have made it easier.“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

If I want to mark where I have got to I use both the tick and the cross together as a marking point.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I agreed initially, but then remembered I'd still have to click into the thread to "thank" and can't really see a way around that?0
