No fixed abode advice

Hi I am wondering if anyone can direct me as to where I would get information about the implications of using my address for someone who is staying at my house for a few days a week but technically have no fixed abode?

They have recently left an abusive relationship and are in a position where they need some support to find somewhere fixed to live and some support whilst also looking for work.

They also may be entitled to DLA - Do DLA accept claims for people with no fixed address.

Any advice welcome

Hi thanks for the responses

I claim working tax credits as I am self employed.

I love at a private tennancy with three other people, I have asked their permission and they have given it as long as it is legal to do so!

If this is a problem could anyone suggest an alternative
