    Hope you get it sorted.

To be honest, I too have found them to often measure too tightly on the band and was once told that the red marks were normal. But I found it too uncomfortable. But everywhere else I have been measured (i.e. the usual high st chains) seem to measure too big.

I don't get measured any more but do use Bravissimo's guidelines on what consitutes a good fit and generally end up with a supportive bra from doing that. I do have the problem of having a narrow rib cage but being quite flabby so - combined with a large bust - it is sometimes hard to find what is tight enough not too ride up with the weight of my boobs but loose enough not to dig in. I generally now am a 34G/GG at a clothes size (top and bottom) 16.

I could have written that too! Except I'm more a 36H or HH. I tend not to get fitted anymore, after my first couple of fittings with them I know what I'm looking for. One of the first bras that was sold to me was that tad bit small, I was on the verge of 34 and 36, I buy a 36 now, 34 is definitely too small these days :(

I need to go back there and get more, maybe I should get another fitting soon, see if they agree with what I think. One of the bras I bought without fitting is that tiny bit tight.

There is also a huge difference between brands & styles. A Charnos 38F is perfect for me, :D but for M&S I need a 36G for a T Shirt style bra. I just wish Charnos made a decent T Shirt style. :(

I know all about that, tried on 2 Freya bras, different styles, same size, one was really small, the other fitted perfectly!

Differences in styles, tell me about it! I can't get bras from some places because it isn't a case of needing a different size, it's the shape/fit of it and none of the sizes fit right! And I am not one of the more generously-endowed amongst us.

Speaking of sizing, anyone noticed vanity sizing going on in bras? I mean, they are smaller than they used to be so you need a bigger size? I KNOW I haven't changed size and still fit in old bras I have that are labelled smaller sizes, yet over the last couple of years I've somehow gone up 2-3 cup sizes!

As for the OPs problem, you've got nothing to lose by going in and asking.

Hi Everyone, Thanks for all your comments and advice, glad I'm not the only one who's had this problem.
I went in on Sunday and spoke to them, they didn't even blink just said ok shall we get you to try them on and give you another fitting.
They agreed it looked a bit tight, but said they'd try me in one of the Bravissimo own make bras with the same size.
I felt it was still pretty tight and couldn't even do it up by myself!! The fitter had to do it up for me. She said it still looked a good fit!
I said I felt it was still too tight and could we try the next band size up, as I wouldn't be able to get it on by myself when I get home. The BF would be really amused helping me out in the morning lol :rotfl:
Tried the next size up band and perfect.
So now have a nice fitting bravissimo bra to replace my panache bra. Apparantly the bravissimo make has slightly thinner wires and they don't come up as high.
The other bra has been ordered in the correct size and if have problems they've told me to bring it back again.

So have gone from 40E to 36H to 38H in 2 weeks :p
Thanks to Bravissimo for good customer service. though maybe a little more training on tightness of band sizes.. if your customer can't do them up herself I'd say that it is definately too tight :)
