Moped Insurance claim

hey there, just a quick question. My girlfriend is currently in the middle of claiming off her moped insurance as it was stolen and burnt out but as always with insurance companies she is being given the run around, we want this and that.
Anyway to the point, she is possibly getting a new moped today and she is going with another insurance company as her year with her current insurance company is up (the claim is still pending)
So would she have to declare the pending claim to the NEW insurance company she insures the new moped with if the old insurance company hasnt actually paid out yet?
thanks in advance

She has to answer the question asked truthfully.
The question is likely to be along the lines: Have you had any accidents or claims in the last five years...
Or is there some other question that seems confusing?
Ongoing/declined/withdrawn claims all have to be disclosed.0 -
fair point but what I meen is as the insurance havent actually paid out would she still have to tick the box to say she has had a claim in the last 5 years?
Just asking as i'm not sure if a pending claim is actually classed as a claim if you get me?
Thanks for the quick reply0 -
Yes it is still a claim irrespective of if its open, closed, reopened, repaid etc0

Any incidents even if no claim has been made.
Do you have any no claims though? Or have you lost it all with this claim?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
