Ebay usually have them too, they're brilliant, really do keep food hot until lunchtime from the morning, work great as ice buckets at a party too!
Little trekkers have the old style heat and go ones for £10.99

and Dunelm have the newer Bento style for £10.99 with free delivery.

We've tried them all over about 10 years and in our opinion Aladdin are the best :-)
OT but this makes me cringeMum's cooking will be readily available wherever your family outings take you.0 -

I was looking on the flask manufacturers' websites for specifications and on MSE for flask deals the other night but by serendipity I wandered into a place called Dunelm Mill yesterday looking for cheap LED lamps and found they have 20% off some flasks (until 21st Jan IIRC)
I went back today after comparing prices and got myself:
1.9 litre Aladdin Stanley Classic Flask Cold 32 hrs Hot 24 hrs (P/N 10-01289) 29.99 now 23.99
1.1 litre Aladdin Stanley Classic Flask Cold 24 hrs Hot 24hrs (P/N 70-01576-005 19.99 now 15.99
0.5 litre Aladdin Stanley classic food flask Cold 12 hrs Hot 12 hrs (P/N 70-00867-001) 16.99 now 13.59
Quite an initial outlay but my flasks get daily usage (usually taking hot water home from work and keeping water boiled at work hot during the work day) and may be subject to abuse from workies. Hope they are not cheaper at the membership cash and carry chains.
All have stainless steel liner.
All have 25 year warranty in Europe
P/N = Aladdin Stanley model number.
Performance based on full flask primed (pre-heated) according to manufacturer's instructions)
They also had the 1 litre Aladdin Challenger which came out top in The Gadget Show's group test. 14.99 now 11.99
I've usually bought Thermos brand and was considering Thermos King (thermax) flasks which have a smaller form factor for the same internal volume and aren't as industrial looking. The sale price which I compared with online prices for the Stanleys was the clincher.
The only drawback was the 1.9 l itre wasn't available in black but the smaller ones were.
Once my wallet has recovered from this investment in flaskage I'll be looking for a high performance stainless steel lined 3 litre airpot and a 2 litre carafe. Any recommendations? I've been looking at Thermos, Aladdin Stanley Ergoserve, Zojirushi, Elia, Olympia, Sunnex and Burco but can't find any decent sites to compare performance.0 -
I got a 0.5 litre Thermos food flask in TK Maxx last year, I can't remember exactly how much it was but around £7, definintely well under a tenner. Always a bit hit and miss with their stock but worth having a look if you have one close by.0

I've got a Thermos King food flask, the £20 one in Argos and it's great. I heat it first with boiling water for 5 mins or so then fill with hot food and it keeps nice and hot for 5/6 hours easily. Nothing like hot soup or sausage and bean casserole when you've been out in this cold we're having at the moment! A great investment.0
