Leaking windows

We had windows put in one YEAR ago

They have leaked and still are in this rain.

They have been over 20 times to patch it up but it still leaks

We have refurbished our house after them saying it has been sorted during the summer but it hasn't been sorted

They are prepared to redo them completely when the weather improves but the paintwork is getting ruined and I have to mop the floor every time it rains.

Am I being unreasonable for getting peed off after so long?

    No. Sounds perfectly reasonable.

Found this old thread and still have this problem, despite many more visits and replacements

They keep trying to repair them but nothing works

What should I do as it has gone on for nearly two years?

Tell the company that either they replace the windows or you will take them to court.

Then take the other option that Dalesrider mentioned.

Before you take them to court, you need to determine what outcome you require:
    • Replace the windows again?
    • Refund what you've paid them? (They'd be allowed to remove the windows they've fitted, as far as I know).
    • Get someone else to repair/replace the windows and charge the costs to the original company?
    • Something else?

Get a 3rd party to look at them and give you their written report on what the issue is.

Then go back to them with as bod1467 says.

    What outcome you require.

You have not said what type of window or where the leak is from. Is it between the window frame and the walls? Through the actual window frame?
    Or else where.

    CCStar.
When looking for advice you really do need to put in ALL the issue, in your 1st post and not trickle info out as replies come in.
