Waitrose/John Lewis Partnership Card

Anyone have any experience with this CC or comments they'd like to share?

When I was in serious financial trouble a few years back they were the most unhelpful people I had to deal with. Rude, too.

Probably fine when you haven't got a problem, though.

Why John Lewis? Their points are really poor and their APR is high!

I like it, as I'm happy to get John Lewis vouchers. I think the 0.5p per £100 cashback on non-JL purchases is better than nothing. Like most of my credit card experiences it's alright providing you don't ring the call centre to change anything. I rang them to change my direct debit and they just said go to the web site and print the form off yourself and send it in - not very friendly. The statement comes out at a pretty well fixed date, unlike other CCs where it moves about all the time.
