Yes, bought some today from ours. The BB Date was 30th April, which suggests that it is reasonably fresh stock?

Hmm, slightly OT but can anyone answer a question that has been perplexing my DH and me for a while now. The adverts for Cravendale say "Filtered to make it purer..." What on earth do they filter out?!?

I can't help feeling its a very expensive set of emperors clothing!

    Hi,

I believe it is spoilage bacteria that are filtered out - today was my first time purchase, so too early to agree/disagree with emperors new clothes comment, but the BB date of 30th April would suggest that there is some difference!

    Regards,

    White.

I have a bit of thing with not fresh milk, and I definitely can tell a difference with cravendale. Unfortunately I can only fit one in the overcrowded shared fridge :(

I really don't like cravendale.. it tastes weird..

That said as a kid I often had unpasturised straight-from-the-cow milk so I might be used to it not being meddled with!
