You need to put a random letter in for the omitted word. I usually put the first letter of the word in

Thanks for this, Wise Owl - it worked for me today on the Glamour competition and the ITV comps. I entered the first letter of the fake word and all went through ok.

did you enter a random character for the fake word? eg when I enter I would type something like "galkda a" where the letter a is in place of the fake word

    Hmm old topic but
from what ive read you need to get it correct 100%
so my question HAS ANYONE WON ANYTHING 'DOING THIS METHOD ONLY''

I beleive that if you enter it incorrect but it still goes through then it will be invalid, therefore you entry wont count, but thats what i read a while ago when someone raised this topic..

I wouldnt even take the chance - what to save maybe 2-3 seconds!!!!
If you are that desperate you need to save that little time you must be entering thousands and thousands a day?

No, if the Captcha goes through it goes through. The Captcha is just a script ITV (and everyone else who uses it) have installed on the pages with forms to prevent bots submitting spam. If the Captcha accepts what you write in the box then the form will go through successfully with the competition runners only receiving your details.

    ^^^Ah thanks for that..
Its just sometimes i notice in t&cs it says winner must have submitted details correctly.
Ive tried it tonight on itv and glamour and a couple of others and it DIDNT work.
I'll stick to just doin them - i find if you refresh the box 2 or 3 times you end up with 4 or 5 letter words so dead easy.
