If a Seller refuses to collect returned item will I still get a refund

Long story short:
We won a Blackberry, paid through pay pay, when the item arrived it was damaged, buttons missing, case melted etc., none of which was mentioned in the listing.
Contacted seller, no response. Opened a case for 'item not as described'. Ebay also contacted seller, no reponse. Ebay told us to return item for refund and sent us a pre-paid label, item was sent on 2nd by parcelforce 48, delivery attempted twice, item still not collected,
If they do not collect the item, will I still get a refund or is it just tough luck?

Yes,
upload tracking details to ebay showing the attempted delivery then phone them and point out that you have returned as per policy- and you now want your refund. Ebay should arrange refund immediately.
