Hi all, if you are 65 or over and claim for disability living allowance you cannot join the mobility scheme and lease a car. Doe's anyone know why, is that not discrimination against over 65's???

Because there is no mobility section of Attendance Allowance.
Over 65's cannot get DLA unless it was awarded prior to being 65. Therefore as its a different scheme it has different rules.0
