Park Resorts Accomodation

Could someone please let me know the different between standard and luxury? These are the options that Breakfree have. The Parks site has bronze, silver etc.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Standard is a bronze chalet or caravan for sure as this is what we are always given on a BF holiday , luxury i presume will be Silver

The grades are always the same, however they may put you in better accommodation at no extra cost, depends on the park and circumstances
  • We are going to Eyemouth in a couple of weeks time. The minimum standard available for that date was Luxury. I just wondered what our extra £20 got us.

    Xmas Saver!
We just come back from Park resorts end of Sept - hopefully can help

Bedrooms are all generally the same in terms of beds

6 berth van - 2 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin, and double pull out bed in front room
8 berth - 3 bedrooms - double, twin 2nd twin, this is generally smaller bedroom, and again pull out bed in front room.

All caravans have full kitchen, oven, kettle, microwave, bathroom with shower, living area - tv

    ---
Bronze - there the older caravans, generally there basic in terms of heating - just have the fire in the front room, wrap around settee, tv which have built in freeview. Not necessary a seperate dining area, the table gets moved around the seating area

Silver - there mid range - slightly posher newer caravans, some can be 12 foot wide, you may get DVD player in the front room and there is a better chance your get heating in the bedrooms - be panel heater on the wall. generally be a seperate dining area and a better quality caravan (on average 4 yrs to 8 yrs old)

Gold - Posh - These caravans are generally upto 3 years old, can be double glazed, you may find some have settees, instead of the wrap around seating, bigger kitchen bigger bedrooms, some may have en-suite for the master room, others have the jack and jill bathroom, (where you can get to the bathroom from main bedroom and off the corridor) have heating in the bedrooms, whether thats panel heating, radiators, central heating.

If your taking a dog then these are only allowed in bronze accomodation and there is only a % that is pet friendly.

Sometimes if they upgrade to luxury it be from bronze to a silver caravan.

    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

As far as im aware all park resorts caravans now have heating in the caravans, they started upgrading them a couple of years ago, certainly all the bronze/silver ones we have stayed in have had heating in the bedroom anyway, and the staff told us they were upgrading them all, but worth checking first it may only be certain parks ?
  • Yes all park resorts caravans now have heating in all rooms. I know this as I've got one on California cliffs in Great Yarmouth. Last year because I was letting my caravan out through them they upgraded my caravan so it has heating in every room.

Basically the difference between the bronze, silver, silver plus, gold and platinum is the age of the caravan and the fixtures and fittings. The golds/platinums have extra touches like nice pictures on the wall, extra toilet and DVD player in lounge area.
