A Fixed/Capped Rate mortgage would solve that issue though?
At least in the short term, and assuming you had a stable job with good career prospects...Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0 -
How did you find your flat?
Sorry - I just looked in the local papers every week - mainly in the private ads rather than the agents (I smoke and have a cat - every Landlords worse nightmare!).... Just waited till I found the flat for me.... and applied. I met with the Landlords, looked round the flat, I liked it they liked me...and the rest is history....0 -

Well actually I haven't told you the whole reason I'm looking to buy. When I was younger I was able to buy a house with a friend which we did up and sold, making a large profit. I have then bought a couple of properties since then and done them up, making money along the way (I have building/renovation experience). Unfortunately I was also spending every penny I made once the property had sold! Now I am a bit older and wiser I would obviously like to renovate again - I just wouldn't spend the money I made this time!!! So it's not only that I would like to be on the property ladder - it's the fact I have been able to make money doing it! I know...far too greedy for my own good.:o0
