am I reading this right? something doesnt add up

so I'm looking for tyres for my car (astra) and need the 195/65R15 H 91 tyres for my set of wheels after searching through a couple of websites I came across National Tyres and Autocare and saw a deal I was interested in.

the offer as it is advertised is
Buy one get one free, so I selected to get 2 tyres which comes up at £106.50 inc VAT fully fitted price and underneath it states,Select multiples of 2 tyres to qualify for offer .

i'm reading this as buying 2 tyres and getting 2 free, am I wrong here?

If I am reading OP's post correctly ....... No, you do not get 4 tyres for £106.50.
The prices for multiples is clearly stated in the drop down box. Each second tyre is free but fitting, balance and disposal is paid for at £11.50 for each tyre. ie 1=83.50+11.50, 2=83.50+11.50+11.50, 3=83.50+83.50+11.50+11.50+11.50, 4=83.50+83.50+11.50+11.50+11.50+11.50.
Go to tyre-shopper.co.uk which is National's internet arm, the tyres will be fitted at National, where the prices are no gimmick and cheaper plus 4% topcashback.

I dare say they make up their loss by telling you the car needs a new exhaust, brakes and shock absorbers.

£106.50 is a fair price for two tyres of that size, and no more.

Don't think you're getting a bargain here -- that's just the price any tyre place will charge.

As well as Tyre Shopper, National also advertise on eBay. 195/65/15 tyres are advertised at £51 each for budget, £60 for Dunlops, fully fitted, £190 for four budget, all fitted. You can see from these prices that you aren't getting anything 'free' really.

Buy one get one free, 50% off, free fitting, 50% extra free, reduced price sale....its all marketing BS.

Blackcirles is another good site, or e-tyres.

Try your local tyre place, Ask a taxi driver.

My local place beats blackcircles and etyres usually.

Avon, Uniroyal or Firestone for £45 each all in for tyres that size.

No ordering or booking. Turn up and fit whilst you wait.
