Hi
I'm new to this and am hopeful somebody can help me, please....
I took out a Sky Mastercard some years ago. I was in trouble and fell behind with the payments and amounted a hefty debt of about £2,600. Then i got a letter from Skycard stating that Barclaycard were taking over the debt and that they weould be in touch.
I never got anything from Barclaycard but the debt is still coming up on my credit report. Can anyone advise if there is anyway i can write this debt off??
Thanks guys

If you didn't default on the debt then it will stay on there until paid.
If you did default then 6 years from when it appeared on your file.0
