Breakdown renewal with major supplier - bit of a swizz!

Well, just had my renewal quote through for my breakdown cover. I reckon they'v got a bit of a nerve! My renewal is more than if I were a new customer, and I allegedly have a "member discount" applied. Phoned them up, got the usual "oh it's a special deal for new customers" garbage. I've sent this e-mail below, I don't expect to gain anything, but to those out there who have renewals coming up, be wary of your quote!
Firstly I notice that the dropdown above does not include a complaints section for breakdown, although you do see it fit to include one for praise / commendations. Interesting, do you deem your service to be just that perfect? Well, unfortunately for you I am here to burst that bubble of smugness. I have just had my renewal quote through and notice that despite being a member for some years it would be cheaper if I were to be a new member on a like for like policy. I spoke to one of your "customer service" representatives who explained that this was because of an "introductory offer".Codswallop. It seems plain to me that you seek to benefit from existing members hoping they won't check out your new business rates. The overall difference in price to be paid is small, but this is hardly the point, when as an existing member (for some years I might add), who allegedly has a discount applied, I'm asked to pay more than a new member. There was a time when loyalty to a company or supplier actually meant something. I see that this is obviously not the same with you. Grab the new business, and then hope they stay with you for evermore without offering any incentive. This isn't the first time I have encountered this with the ***. My father who has been a member for over 35 years and has called out the *** 4 times in that entire membership was quoted a much higher renewal than that being offered to new customers only last year. I doubt this note will be taken with any degree of significance as I am obviously “just a number” but I’m sure that the readers of certain consumer websites will be pleased to hear about your rewards for customer loyalty.
