Just had a quick look on the Oxfam site - £20 for a Bero cook book! Glad I pinched one from my mum last time I visited :)

Fire Fox - positive vibes coming your way. I'm a bit under the weather too and have had a couple of tests at the docs this week. Think it's been too long a winter :o

Edwardia - as ever thanks for all the links and info. I'm learning so much.
Sorry to hear of computer troubles.

Riverford is down for the weekend so I can't try them out.

On a brighter note, a&c were fab as ever, and I've got some lovely lamb for a stew.
Kirri - I've not seen the code for dried fruit on my page? Is it targeted do you know?

Lastly, Tesco has 2 organic cucumbers for £1.50 until the 28th I believe. :)

Happy Saturday one and all :T

Virtual hug Fie Fox, is there anything you can think of doing to make you feel better? Go for a walk, knit, see a friend, whatever things you enjoy.

Fire Fox - sending positive vibes your way also, hope they make it to Yorkshire ! Suggest munching cashews espesh cos Holland & Barrett doing the 2nd one for a penny thang

***cupcake*** :o I'm all embarrassed now but thank you :D

alfsmum and Kirri - scratching head here, don't think I've tried Tidesford stuff yet tho Ocado sells it. No reason why not either.

I had some of that organic chocolate from The Grenada Chocolate Company www.grenadachocolate.com from Waitrose. It was the 70% one, so sweet to me but have to say it didn't taste better than the ASDA Extra Special organic 70% though 1.85 more expensive for same size bar. I'd suggest saving the money and buying the ASDA stuff ;)

Had new season organic asparagus from Italy this week.. delicious.. also huge organic Spanish strawberies. Very juicy, but so hard eww.

olivepalm states on another thread that ASDA has 24 Velvet loo rolls for £7 at the moment. www.velvettissue.com for the tree promise video and a 50p off coupon ;)

I'm not sure if it's already been mentioned but Rocks Organic Squash is delicious. There's quite a few flavours and it doesn't contain any sweeteners or rubbish. It tastes lovely and took me ages to find a squash without a ton of sweeteners in it! I've been paying £2.99 for a bottle, makes plenty though :)

    Thanks :)
Have added to my Ocado order. Had been debating on flavours as it is on special offer £2.24.

^ Rock's lime squash is lovely (they do a lime cordial too but that's aimed at adults..).

Ditto to Firefox, hope you feel better soon and you cupcake.
I'm also in for tests this week urgh.

I'm not sure, the code was on the receipt. Last time they put an offer on the receipt like that it appeared on the homepage a few days later. Think I might resist as I don't want to buy unless I'm about to use something, though I did fancy some walnuts for a carrot cake.

Noticed earlier that Marigold do two organic versions of the stock now, I have the vegan organic one here but they also have a low salt version though (though think veg not vegan labelled, not sure why).

Was just about to promise undying love to Waitrose when I got to the last para of the DM piece...
Waitrose is now the only large retailer to have a total ban on GM feed for chickens producing meat and eggs. It allows it for most other livestock.

    :(
