Bounced email

Hi
I sent a friend an email recently in USA and it got bounced back - no explanation or codes - just the raw email. I think she may be annoyed with me and was wondering if she has blocked my email address - I'm a nice person really and cant understand this. Dont want to write or phone or text until I know whats going on.:A I use Hotmail.com

The header of the bounced email should show the reason it bounced

Oh dear... how needy. It's not you... or anything you've done.... it'll most likely be one of the following:

- you typed the email address slightly wrong
- she closed her account or didn't pay her bill
- their server is down or some piece of kit's broken

So:
- check and double-check the email address and that you typed it 100% correctly.
- try again later/tomorrow.
