Car Insurance - Swinton - Beat price with cashback cheque after 90 days !

Heard it all now.
Got a renewal quote - expensive. Looked around and managed to get quote for £120 cheaper.
Phoned Swinton and they said they could match. (All of a sudden its £170 instead of £290!!!).
BUT, it would take the form of a cashback cheque after 90 days. Basically, I'd pay the same (as if it was £290) then they'd send me a cheque for £120 in 90 days.
Bloke on the phone couldn't understand why I though it was funny. Why on earth would I wait 90 days for £120 when I can get it £120 cheaper with alternative insurance NOW? All for the sake of setting up new DD and sending proof of no claims off....
Obviously, some people can't be bothered to change insurers eh?
