Does anyone know if it is possible to register with onetel, in order to recieve their free weekend calls and also route your calls via another provider (18877) during the rest of the week?
I have the V4 call router to aid a final solution

When I asked them this question they said "yes" but I am not confident that they were answering the question that I asked !0 -

No problems.Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -
sorry, yes I do mean 18866. Thank you.
To route calls via other providers to do you just dial in the Onetel override number before dialing the 18866 prefix?0 -

Once you are signed up to Onetel as your CPS and signed up to 18866 you would just dial 18866 before the full number of the caller you are dialing. This will then put the call through 18866 and onto your bill with them.

Following on from this, if you use Onetel as described above, and/or using 18666 and 1899, if you make local calls, do you have to dial the local area code too?0
-
Yes, local area code has to be dialled after any call provider code (unless you're using an Orchid or similar dialler) but not for your CPS call provider.

I use One tel and used their phone pal thing (rather than let them set up CPS via BT) so I did not have any problem when I got my Orchid V4 as you can set it to use Onetel when the are best (eg weekends, for some mobile calls with the discount plan) and 1899 and 18866 at other times.

Yes, no problems. I'm use Onetel, Standard Talk with CPS, and take advantage of the free weekend calls, use 18866 most other times without any problems.
They did however, tell me categorically that it wouldn't be allowed to pay their line rental and carry on doing the same.0
