IVA No completion certificate
Options
Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone can help me please?
We finalised our IVA back in Jan this year and we are still waiting for our completion certificate!
Everytime i ring payplan they say it is all down to claiming back vat and that there is still money in our accounts that hasn't been distributed yet!
Surely this is not on?
I was under the impression that maybe three months at the most we would have to wait but ten!!
Not happy bunnies i can tell you, i have complained to them and they say they are looking into it, but this is not good enough anymore!! I want to change bank accounts and without that certificate we can't do a damn thing.
Is there anyone i can complain to about this?
Many thanks Dawn

Hi Dawn,
It was similar to my situation was told 3 months was more like 5 months I lodged a complaint with them and they sent me a standard resonse saying they had so many days to respond in but I chased them every other day to find out about it was told it was all down to the tax they can now claim back which needs to go in to pot and distributed out then they get a final tally of who has been paid what and this info goes on the certificate of completion. I would just keep on at them and ask to be kept informed at all times of what is happening not sure it will help but makes them know you are not going to let it drop.
Good luck.

I am also in this situation with Pplan. i sent f&f payment in June and still awaiting my Certificate. I have not pestered them as yet but next week is the 4th Month so I will start then!!!! As far as I can see I have fulfiiled all my obligations and was told 8-12 weeks for certificate. They now need to fulfill their side!!!!0

I am in same position, competed payment 60 on April 1st, contacted them in June for update on completion date, when they said no idea due to reclaiming tax, july same story, august same - made complaint - received reply stating basically not there fault all down to HMRC nothing they can do! - september no change..... So here we are in October no closer but at least the monthly payments are staying in my saving account0

I completed my payments for my IVA with Payplan in October 2010 and it took until March 2011 to get the completion certificate, which involved much pestering.0

I completed yesterday and my IP told me we should have Completion Certificate in around 2 weeks that is all it usually takes as they start all VAT/TAX reclaims prior to completion so as not to delay anything! Heres hoping but might be a load of poop - I was with McCambridge Duffy?0
