I think my pet hate for today is finally thinking of a witty comeback to a post only to find the thread has been locked and I can't post.

i would love to know why some threads get locked and some get deleted altogether

I think BGs can lock threads, so sometimes they get locked and then the forum team delete them.

Otherwise, I think they get locked, if the question at the beginning of the thread is thought of as 'answered', especially when something that has the potential for further debate / to turn controversial!

Decided to go with the punchline of the Master of ready wit and repartees reply to the red nosed clown.

Hmmm. Riposte or retort. Definitely not repost. Following the guidelines of an earlier post of yours, I guess I will have to report you;):p:cool:

At the moment it's people who attach themselves leech-like to my twitter feed and retweet EVERYTHING I tweet. Since my twitter feed is mostly rafflecopter daily tweets they're wasting their time anyway if they haven't 'used the correct form'

I never thought I'd block anyone from following me but one or two have been blocked recently for following a little too closely on my heels.

Okay they can still check out my feed but at least I won't see they've retweeted 40 of my rafflecopter entries in the last 5 minutes.

At one point I emailed and explained they needed to enter on the rafflecopter or it wouldn't count but got snappy responses so I leave them to it now. Grr.

I've had this a lot too lately, I think its a mix of people being click happy and just tweeting everything in the hope they win and people with bots set up to automatically retweet anything that mentions win, giveaway etc

I hate blog comps where you have to follow them using 100 different methods - Bloglovin, G+, Facebook etc. I don't mind following them 1 way but I don't see why getting the same blog post 4 different ways is gonna make me any more likely to read it.

Oh and I hate comps where you have to say why you'd like to win the prize. It's always filled with sob stories that are a load of bull
    Thanks to all posters
