There used to be a South African store right near London Charing Cross station and we were able to buy toothpaste in there made for SA which was cheaper than the same brand in Sainsbury's

My birds wouldn`t touch it ,ended up dumping the lot on local waste ground fot gulls and pigeons.
Do I need it or just want it.
  • Edwardia, the shop is still there... I was in there last week. There's also a small shop in London Bridge station.

I've bought packs of 4 branded yogurts from 99p shop & some of their ham off the bone. Oh & once there was a lovely deep chicken pie, family size which I'd seen elsewhere for £3+. I chanced buying one & it was good, but never seen it in there any more.

Whenever I'm in either the 99p or £1 shops I'll always check out the chilled section just to see what they have as sometimes there are one off's.

Recently I've noticed the 99p shop selling Robinson's drinks, which even when on special offer in Sainsbury's nowadays are buy 2 for £3. I love the Pink Grapefruit flavour & the Forest Fruits, so tend to stock up on those in case the stock suddenly dries up.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
