NPower extended billing cycle!

What is NPower playing at?

My 6 monthly bill was due in Feb 2013, on this bill my discount is shown (actually due 17October each year).

However they have billed me today, no discount given, given me a refund of £65 and increased my direct debit!

Finally the bill shows that my next bill date is August 2013!

Does anyone have any idea what they are up to?

I'd like to know what they are up to as well?!

However, this has been going on for a while. My 'summer' bills for the last 3 years have been dated: 8 Oct 10, 23 Sept 11, 8 Oct 12

(Winter bills have gone Apr 10, Mar 11, Apr 12). Everytime I try and do a price comparaison, I get confused as I'm not comparing like with like.

I also had a refund of £168 today but cannot access my bill online for some reason. I shall be extremely annoyed if they have put up my DD after refunding me!

If you do not agree NPower are complying with their own process ask them to comply. If they decline - complain.
