Puppies found in two cars in Dublin

I have just read that 50 puppies have been found in two cars in Dublin and that it is believed that they have been taken to Dublin from the UK to be sold on. Lets hope that some of the people who have lost their pets might be reunited with them.

Are they all stolen to order pups, (not related) or litters that people have given away free or very cheaply. I loathe adverts in freeads that offer to buy entire litters, this is what ends up to the pups involved. If its the latter there's no chance of happy reunions.

Wherever the pups have come from it is totally despicable. When will the human race ever stop looking at animals purely for monetary gain? :(

  • It is not clear, more info on Sky news and BBC websites, however I have heard of puppies and dogs being stolen to be sold on. My stepson has a rather nice pedigree terrier and while he was at a big agriculteral show with his dog on a lead somebody came up to him and told him to be careful as the previous year a dog had been stolen, the dog had been on a lead and as the owner was chatting to somebody and his attention was elsewhere the lead was cut and the dog taken! I do wonder sometimes about the adverts we see of dogs for sale with no papers.

    They're from puppy farms.

There are several different litters, they're not well cared for and they showed one who was only 4 weeks old who is far too young to have been taken from it's mother
