dog friendly car hire ?

does anyone know which car hire companies will allow me to take a dog in a hire car?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    In the past me and OH have hired cars and just taken our dog out in it. To be honest, we never even thought about asking if it was ok.

    We put a throw on the back seat and our dog did not moult so I don't see why it would have been a problem.

    That's what I've always done too. What the car hire company doesn't know won't hurt them. And if you have any comeback about a stray dog hair or two, just act innocent and say you wondered what it was that started your allergies off...:o
