Not sure if this is quite the right forum anyway...
Is anyone else having difficulty accessing their account information through M&S Money (now Bank!) internet banking?
I have been trying to access details about my credit card for over 2 weeks now and am getting the same error message everytime - "We are sorry but this service is unavailable at the moment due to an unexpected host error. Please try again Later."
Starting to drive me a little insane now, I find internet banking much easier and more convenient to manage my money. I have phoned up once and they said it would be fixed by the end of last week (and it hasn't).
Someone on social media suggested accessing the login via everyday savings and then the system worked.. tried that and not any better.

Fine for me too. Have you tried clearing your cookies etc? Or maybe use a different browser like Firefox?0

I remember seeing that message once or twice over the past month, but each time, I re-logged in without a problem.0 -

tried all options suggested - no joy, can still log in but i'm still getting this message :
"Important Message
We're sorry, but we're unable to deal with your request right now. Please try again later. You can select an option from the left-hand menu to continue. (899)"
very frustrating as still cannot see any account details - i've contacted them via facebook now so hopefully get some joy!2014

I have an everyday savings account and can log on

I keep having this problem for couple of months now. At some times of a day I just cannot even get onto the site for log in and then if I do I cannot move from there... Try it another time of a day and it works.
Last week I got the same message as you - but tried again and was fine.
But surprisingly when I logged in yesterday it was very fast and worked on first try.. so I thought it was now repaired and the problems were only while they were gearing up for launching the new bank..0 -

I've been having intermittent problems accessing site too - very frustrating when you want to check out transactions, etc.
Not excess cookies either, just seems to be pot luck - I've sent them an e-mail about the issue but no response.0 -
Finally got a resolution after contacting M&S via Facebook.
the issue is connected with a change to their systems as they changed to M&S Bank.
For some customers there is a bug in the system which has affected transfer onto the new systems.
The advisor I spoke to said that although I was registered on the old system I wasn't appearing on the new one.
He deleted me off the old, explained I would need to re register for internet banking and could use the same details (i.e username) if I wished.. having done this I can now access all of my information as normal :T2014
