I have recently gone over to a BT wireless router.
How do I make it secure?
With my previous modem I could get on and offline very easily and didn't stay online when I didn't need to be, there was an icon on the taskbar which showed when I was connected; with this new router it seems I am always connected or am I ?

It's a BT wireless router. I myself don't have a wireless computer but when the grandchildren come they bring their laptops and don't need to use my computer. I also am thinking about getting a laptop at some future date.0
