Book on Kindle not syncing with Iphone/Nexus

Last night I loaded a new book onto my kindle. It's a third party book and I just loaded it via Mass Storage. I thought once it was on my Kindle, it was supposed sync across all my devices, however it isn't available on either my IPhone or Nexus apps. I've looked in the cloud/archive and the device bits but I can't find it anywhere. I've reinstalled the apps on both devices but the book still isn't showing. Anyone know how to sort this?

This only works for WhisperSync books, i.e. Books downloaded directly from Amazon. It *may* be possible to get round it by emailing the book to your "@free.kindle.com" email address (see Amazon for this), but I'm not sure if even that WhisperSyncs properly...0

SuperHan is right It works if you email it to your kindle address, then it will be available to download on all devices, whispersync positions work for these documents.0
